Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her.
So, I must love my wife as my own body, because, when I show love to my wife,
I am showing love to myself.
As it is written “For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.”
Therefore, who or what shall separate my wife from my love?
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine or nakedness, or peril or sword? No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us, and with Christ as the Head of our home...
